dicentra to Present at NHPRS Conference

Jon-Paul Powers, Ph.D., of dicentra will present at the Natural Health Product Research Society Conference in Vancouver, B.C., Canada Feb 18 – 21, 2009. Dr. Jon-Paul Powers will present on the importance of natural health product research, not only as a means of increasing the available body of knowledge, but also as the primary determinant of the natural health products available to Canadian consumers in the current regulatory environment. Dr. Powers will discuss what key information regulatory bodies look for in scientific reports to establish the safety and efficacy of these products. Inclusion of this data at the time of publication would allow available research funds to be utilized more effectively and may also serve to increase product innovation in the natural health product industry.
